Technically, downtown Alpharetta is located in zip code 30009. If you are looking for a home near downtown at least make sure the home is located in zip code 30009. The Alpharetta City Hall building is located on the east side of Main St (Hwy 9) between Park Plaza and Haynes Bridge Road on the south side of Academy Steet. Brand new neighborhoods like East of Main and Voysey are literally located right there on Academy and on the south side of city hall is Thompson Street which connects the downtown area of Alpharetta directly to Avalon.

The zoning, planning, and development that has gone into the downtown area of Alpharetta works as well or better than the development of any other of these types of projects in the Metro Atlanta Market.
