Discovering the Diversity of Gwinnett County

"Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to Great Places! You're off and away!"

I don't know about you, but I love exploring and going to new places. As a Realtor® this goes hand in hand with my profession. I also love sharing things with others, so I have decided to venture out on a journey across Gwinnett County to learn more about each city/community and what it has to offer and share it with you. I hope you learn more about this metro Atlanta County and who knows, maybe I'll venture out of the county to more places when I'm done here. The quote above is from "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss and is one of my favorite books so let's start this journey together and learn more about Gwinnett County!

FACTS:
Gwinnett County is northeast of the capital city of Atlanta, GA.  According to the 2020 census, the population is 957,062 and it is the 7th most diverse county in the United States of America ("U.S.A."). Having so much diversity means there is a lot to discover about each city, their events, their shops and more. Gwinnett County also has three sports teams; Georgia Swarm Lacrosse, Gwinnett Stripers Triple-A baseball, and the Atlanta Gladiators professional minor league hockey. It is home to one of the largest Hindu temples in the U.S.A. It is also home of the largest piece of exposed granite in the world and the Yellow Daisy Festival, the largest outdoor arts and crafts festival in the Southeast, at Stone Mountain Park.

MY EXPERIENCE:
I've lived in this area for 8 years and learn new things on a regular basis about what makes this county such a great place to live. A few of my favorite things about Gwinnett County are the parks, the library system, diversity of restaurants, and of course Stone Mountain Park. I’m super excited about this journey and sharing what I find with you, along with a current local market update each week for the city I’m in. Below is the market update for Gwinnett County.

WHAT'S NEXT:
Next week, come along with me as we will discover more about Norcross, GA and the many things this community has to offer for residents and visitors. Note, some weeks may include videos and more pictures, you never know. Life is an adventure ... "so get on your way!"
