Alpharetta East of Georgia 400

Real estate in Alpharetta on either side of Georgia 400 differs slightly. Ask anyone who lives in Alpharetta and they will be proud to tell you they live on one side or the other even though the prices of the homes and the commute times into Sandy Springs, Buckhead and Midtown are about the same. The only significant difference would be prices of homes for sale in Downtown Alpharetta and homes for sale in Avalon both of which are on the west side of GA 400.

Alpharetta homes on the east side of Georgia 400 tend to be in more established neighborhoods such as Windward, Glen Abbey, Park Brook and Park Glenn.

The overall real estate market is strong on the east side of Alpharetta because the schools are some of the best in the state which helps to keep demand high. Residents still have easy access to Avalon, Downtown Alpharetta and Northpoint mall but this area offers a little less hustle and bustle associated with much of the new growth in the area.
