Cumming Real Estate Market

The Cumming real estate market is strong and stable for a number of reasons. For one, the type of home you can get compared to Alpharetta just to the south is either newer, larger or both. Therefore, many people make the additional time/commute sacrifice to get the home they want in Cumming since the same home costs more in Alpharetta/Milton or Johns Creek. Another reason the Cumming real estate market is strong is because of the schools. Many of the Cumming schools rank very high on national school rating websites and published test scores tend to be much higher than the Metro Atlanta averages. Parents who are concerned about schools see these scores and the demand for the area in general rises because of it. There are also a lot of options for new construction homes in Cumming at prices that remain more affordable than some of the areas directly to the south.

Combined with the proximity to GA 400 and just a short trip to Alpharetta and the location of Cumming real estate turns out to be one of the best reasons to consider moving here. The Cumming real estate market, as with most other areas on the north side of Metro Atlanta is very strong and the homes are very sought after. Cumming continues to see a surge in growth in part because of upward trending home prices in areas to the south such as Alpharetta, the continued addition of amenities in Forsyth county, like Halcyon, Lake Lanier and homes that are perceived to be a great value. Search all Cumming homes for sale right here on the Premier Atlanta Real Estate website. Search homes, townhomes, condos and do research on your current home in Cumming by viewing the recently sold homes in your Cumming neighborhood.

The Cumming real estate market has a wide variety of communities, subdivisions and neighborhoods to choose from including luxury golf homes, new construction homes, older neighborhoods with homes on large lots, condos & townhomes and everything in between. The school system reports high test scores making the areas sought after for people who have an interest in schools motivated to move here and there are plenty of parks and recreation for outdoor lovers as well. Sought after schools, Lake Lanier, a wide variety of housing styles and prices, excellent shopping and dining and a location that is convenient to the major work area of Alpharetta make homes for sale in Cumming very popular and strengthen Cumming real estate overall.
