Atlanta Photography Workshops

A good friend of mine and photographer, Mike Moreland is putting together some photography workshops. Mike and his team are true professionals. My family uses Mike for family portraits like the beautiful black & white of my 2 daughters hanging above my fireplace and he also was the fabulous photographer for our $10,000,000 listing, Providence. Mike shoots weddings (I have some clients about to get married Mike if you are reading this) as an Atlanta wedding photographer, families, real estate and more - you need to just get with him to discuss what you are thinking about.
Below is the flyer for some upcoming workshops that he sent to me in an email. Since I think so highly of Mike, Brittany and team, I thought I would pass this along in the hopes of sending him a little extra business. Photography is a hobby for me (I'm pretty passionate about it and about learning more about it) so I will be at these as my schedule permits...
All of the contact information you need is at the bottom...here is a link to his workshops.
We're so excited about the line up of our 2011 Workshops! The team at Moreland Photography is overwhelmed with the interest generated by all of you, our wonderful clients, but for those of you who may not have seen the dates or details check them out below. The great thing about our workshops is that you don't have to be a professional photographer. Whether your a stay-at-home mama wanting to take better pictures of your kids, a professional photographer eager to take your work to the next level, or retired enthusiast looking for fresh ideas, we've got different workshops geared and tailored to everyone's interests and needs. Please share this information with any of your friends or family that might have interest in learning more about photography. Thanks so much!! |

![]() I attended Mike’s workshop on Weddings in September of 2010. It was a really great experience. From the slideshow showing his amazing work, to a critique of our images, he really had a personal, hands on approach. We also had the opportunity to submit questions or concerns about the wedding process and he took the time to go over each one…even remembering who asked each question. Mike educated us on some of the marketing tools that work for him so we can put those tools to use as well. After the morning session we were off to Loew’s Hotel in Atlanta for a shoot with a live model. Mike demonstrated several lighting techniques and worked with us on “seeing” the light. It was a lot of fun and went by way too fast! Whether you are a new wedding photographer or a seasoned one like myself, this workshop really hit all the angles of the industry and I came away with alot of things I can put to use in my own business.
